Rix Storm S3R V2 Thermal Scope

The RIX STORM S3R V2 packs serious thermal performance, integrated ranging, and ballistic capability into a compact and lightweight platform. Built around a 384×288, 12μm thermal sensor and a fast 35mm F1.0 objective lens, the S3R V2 delivers a detailed thermal image while maintaining a 3.5× base magnification for hunters who prefer a tighter field of view.

The V2 brings several significant upgrades to the STORM platform, including <15 mK thermal sensitivity, a high-resolution 1920×1080 AMOLED display, an integrated 2,187-yard laser rangefinder, and onboard ballistic calculation. These features give hunters the ability to detect, range, and calculate ballistic information without adding extra equipment to the rifle.

Built for Real-World Hunting

The S3R V2 is designed for hunters who want a compact optic without giving up the features normally found on larger thermal systems. Its 3.5× base magnification provides a tighter view that works well for field edges, feeders, wooded openings, and other hunting situations where additional magnification is useful.

The integrated laser rangefinder can measure distances out to 2,187 yards, while the built-in ballistic calculator supports multiple zeroing profiles. The redesigned mounting system provides additional flexibility on both AR-style and bolt-action rifles.

With 64GB of internal storage, recording capability, Wi-Fi connectivity, a replaceable 18650 battery, and an IP67-rated housing, the STORM S3R V2 is built to be a versatile thermal system for demanding nighttime use.
