Rix Storm S3R Thermal Scope

RIX STORM S3R Thermal Scope

High-Magnification Precision in an Ultra-Lightweight Frame

The RIX STORM S3R is the 384-resolution counterpart to the S6R, specifically designed for hunters who prioritize higher base magnification and long-range identification without the weight of a traditional tube scope. Weighing only 1.0 lb, it packs a built-in Laser Rangefinder (LRF) and AI-driven image processing into a compact "short-body" design that is as effective for handheld scanning as it is for precision shooting. A quick detach mount is included.

Key Performance Highlights

• Powerful Base Magnification: Featuring a 3.5x base optical magnification, the S3R is purpose-built for mid-to-long range predator and hog hunting. It provides a tighter field of view that allows for more confident target identification at distance.

• Resolution Enhanced Technology (RET): Utilizing advanced AI algorithms, RIX’s RET system boosts the perceived detail of the 384×288 sensor, delivering image clarity that punches well above its class.

• Ultra-Sensitive Sensor: With a NETD <20mK, the S3R detects subtle temperature differences in "flat" thermal environments, ensuring you can distinguish a target from the brush in fog or high humidity.

• Compact Integrated LRF: The built-in Laser Rangefinder provides instant, accurate distance readings up to 1,312 yards. When paired with the onboard ballistic calculator, it provides real-time holdover data for precise shots.
